God is sovereign, so He gets to decide what is fair
That which brings God glory is fair
That which is unfair in this world will be made right in Heaven
When we are called to suffer on behalf of Christ, we’re also called to endure an unfairness (from our perspective), but maybe it is fair from an eternal perspective (our suffering = the reward we receive in Heaven)
We fight for God’s glory as well as real fairness on this earth

Because fairness is so closely tied to justice, we need to take an A) eternal view of fairness and B) God’s system of fairness is substitutionary, not individualistic
