Why work in the private sector?

I ran across this report recently at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It seems that the average hourly wage for those working in the private sector is $28.89, including benefits while those who work for government earn an hourly wage of $41.94, including benefits. This is 45% higher pay for government workers than private sector workers. This sickens me. Sorry all you government employees, but you are *NOT* more valuable in our economy than private sector workers. Seems all I’m doing is working hard so others can live the dream.
